✨ This is what the state adds
+990 € a year
Base subsidy 390 €
The base subsidy is up to €540 per year. It depends on your own contribution: pay in less and you receive proportionally less.
Child subsidy 2 × 300 € 600 €
Each child brings up to €300 per year while child benefit runs. This subsidy is tied to your contribution as well. The age of each child decides how much longer it flows.
Career-start bonus (one-off) 0 €
Anyone who pays in before their 25th birthday receives a one-off €200 on top. It arrives once, which is why it sits below the yearly total.
Gross pension from 67

Around 804 € a month after tax.

- 237,813 €

Annual return assumption
Three assumptions, not a forecast. Even the lowest is not a floor: markets can fall further than shown here. You can incur losses and may get back less than you paid in. Because you invest globally, exchange rates affect your result too.

How this is calculated
The tax office compares two routes and applies the better one for you: the subsidies of 990 € or the tax deduction of 810 €. At your income your marginal tax rate is 37 %. Whatever exceeds the subsidies is refunded to you. How you are actually taxed depends on your personal circumstances and may change.

Advertising by quirion AG. This calculation is a non-binding example. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation and not a promise. We do not assess here whether an Altersvorsorgedepot is suitable for you. How we calculate: we assume a return of 8 % a year before costs. For context: the average annual performance of the MSCI World Index (in euro, including dividends) from 30 June 1996 to 30 June 2026 was 8.54 %; a different start date produces a materially different figure. From this we deduct 0.20 % a year in fund costs (TER); we do not include a portfolio-management fee here, because the price for the Altersvorsorgedepot has not been set yet – your actual costs may therefore be higher. That leaves around 7.80 % a year after costs in the calculation. For children we count the child allowance for as long as Kindergeld is paid. Unless you set it otherwise we assume, for simplicity, that it ends at 18; if it runs longer, the subsidy is higher. Transaction and custody costs and taxes during the savings phase are not included, and the amounts are not adjusted for inflation. What this is not: such projections are not a reliable indicator of future performance. Past performance of an index is likewise not a reliable indicator of future performance; an index cannot be bought directly, and an ETF only tracks it approximately. Actual performance can be considerably worse than any scenario shown here. You bear the full market risk: you can incur losses and may get back less than you paid in. Because you invest globally, exchange rates also affect your result. Tax: how your payout is taxed depends on your personal circumstances and may change in future; we calculate on the law as it stands today, and the tax figure is no substitute for tax advice. About the product: the state-subsidised Altersvorsorgedepot may be offered from 1 January 2027. Subsidies and maximum amounts in this calculation are based on the Altersvorsorgereformgesetz of 26 May 2026 (BGBl. 2026 I Nr. 156).
