Nationwide, the bank – which specialises in independent advice – achieved a score of 4.59 out of a possible 5 points, leaving the following institutions well behind.
And in the regional, city-level analysis, too, the bank – which advises investors exclusively on an independent, fee-based basis – comes out excellently. Quirin Privatbank has a branch in 9 of the cities analysed. It was voted the best bank locally – here, too, in some cases by a clear margin – in Stuttgart (with 4.81 points), Hanover (4.54), Munich (4.54), Hamburg (4.47) and Cologne (4.44).
“We are delighted with this once again outstanding customer feedback.

“The fact that we are the best bank in Germany from the customer’s perspective is no coincidence, but the result of our independent advice – which is only possible on a fee basis – and of our consistently applied, science-based investment concept ‘Market – Opinion – Knowledge’. It dispenses with speculation and relies instead on the combined power of the global economy,” explains the bank’s Chairman of the Board, Karl Matthäus Schmidt.
On the review portal WhoFinance, consumers have been able to rate their banking, insurance or financial adviser for ten years. WhoFinance thereby gives bank customers reliable guidance on the actual quality of advice at a given institution. “This creates the transparency for consumers that we need in a finance industry geared towards selling,” Schmidt continues.
The bank’s business model also ensures transparency – it advises exclusively on a fee basis. That is, it receives no commissions from product providers and can therefore offer genuinely independent advice.
Quirin Privatbank is available to investors from an investment volume of €100,000.
