From login to dashboard to portfolio details: we have given our app a proper spruce-up. For a faster overview, for a better user experience – and for more security.
With the quirion app, you always keep an eye on your investment at quirion. And now that is even more convenient. Because we have fundamentally reworked our app. Almost everything has a new look. „The app now feels much tidier,“ sums up Maximilian Schmidt, who oversaw the update as product manager. „You find what matters to you right now far more quickly.“
You can see straight after logging in that a lot has changed in the app. A consistently light design and a revised structure make key figures such as your total assets stand out more clearly, for example. If you prefer, you can also use dark mode. In both versions, readability has improved considerably.
A better user experience
„When it came to the user experience, the app was no longer up to date,“ Schmidt notes. „So we worked very intensively on the user interface, took numerous customer requests into account in the process, and fixed a number of bugs.“ Unlocking via Face ID or fingerprint, for instance, now runs more reliably. The new dashboard with its unified card view makes it easier to call up the most important information.
Interactive chart shows performance
The portfolio view has also been reworked. In the details on your strategy, you will find an interactive chart optimized for display on smartphones. „Compared with the previous version, the chart scales better,“ Schmidt explains. „On top of that, deposits are now integrated, so you can follow the performance even more easily.“
New features
If you have your returns displayed in your quirion account, you may already have come across this: contrary to what many assume, there is not just one way to calculate returns. The difference between money-weighted and time-weighted returns (link to https://www.quirion.de/post/so-berechnen-wir-renditen) is important for correctly assessing performance. But also a little complicated. Easy-to-understand explanations are now built into the app as well.
In addition, some functions have been added that were previously only available on the web. Whether you have forgotten your password, want to submit an exemption order, or want to change your strategy: everything now works directly from within the app.
Even more security
Another new feature is handy for security. With it, you can shield yourself from prying eyes when you use the app in public. With a single tap, you can hide the euro amounts. The performance in percent stays visible throughout.
There are two ways to take advantage of all the benefits of the new app. If you have automatic updates enabled, you don't need to do anything else. Everyone else should download the update, Schmidt advises. „And not just because of the new features and the design improvements,“ Schmidt emphasizes. „For security reasons, it is generally advisable to always use the latest version of any app.“
