When exercising their voting rights at companies' annual general meetings, the issuers of sustainable ETFs take sustainability criteria into account. And of course we are also in dialogue with the fund and ETF providers. In this way, you therefore exert influence on business practices. In the bond segment, you invest not only in companies but also in development banks, which use your money to finance development projects such as building up a drinking water supply. Because the transition to a sustainable society takes time and energy, it is important to us to motivate people through our approach. When assessing sustainability, we are not concerned with subjective judgements. Our concern is to preserve the livelihood of future generations. And right now it is also about achieving a broad-based shift in values regarding climate change. Strict exclusions, on the other hand, prevent dialogue and thus the chance to change anything.
