What is Cash-Invest and how does it work?

The Cash-Invest portfolio contains a combination of various money market financial instruments (currently exclusively in the form of ETFs). Unlike, for example, quirion's global portfolio, here you do not invest in equity and bond ETFs. Money market financial instruments include, among other things, interest-bearing securities with a very short maturity – on average between 20 and 30 days in the Cash-Invest portfolio. Maturing investments are therefore quickly replaced by securities with current interest rates. For this reason, the target return of this portfolio is always very close to the current money market rates, which are also decisive in interbank transactions. Your investment therefore adapts very quickly to the general short-term interest rate level and usually fluctuates only slightly.
