Taking your finances into your own hands: at quirion, you can do that in the figurative sense, but also quite literally. In our web shop, alongside gift cards for investing, we keep a few everyday essentials ready for you, from a laptop bag to bathing slides.
More people are excited about investing today than in the past, especially in the younger generation. But even though interest has grown, it still isn't big enough. Too many people continue to leave the return opportunities of the capital markets untapped. Yet in the future, taking your finances into your own hands will only become more important.
"We want investing to be part of everyday life," emphasises Stefanie Jüstel, Chief Marketing Officer at quirion. That's why, back in 2021, quirion became the first financial services provider to introduce gift cards for investing: first as an offering in brick-and-mortar retail at Edeka, then also at Amazon, Payback and Wunschgutschein. The message: investing should be something completely natural. Just like doing the groceries. "With the cards, you can also simply give investing as a gift," Jüstel points out. "That can be an important nudge to start building wealth."

The brand as ambassador
Since August, the gift cards have also been available on shop.quirion.de, in quirion's new web shop. It also offers a few everyday essentials. "With our service, we want to convey a certain lifestyle," Jüstel explains. "We take the complexity out of finance, we make it simple and part of everyday life. Because we're there as a constant companion."
For the range, Jüstel and her team first looked for products suited to their customers' digital lifestyle: the lightweight laptop bag, for example, or the high-capacity power bank.

"In keeping with our brand, we've also added a few stylish products," Jüstel emphasises. Currently the star of the range: the quiLette, white bathing slides featuring the striking quirion logo. "Demand quickly became very high."

But the range wasn't chosen for "style" alone. The shopping bag shows this: an "Aware Tracer" validates that only recycled materials were in fact used to make the tote. Compared with a bag made from non-recycled materials, this saves over 1,500 litres of water, per bag produced.
The range is set to be expanded soon. "We've already received lots of suggestions from customers and interested people," Jüstel reports. A winter edition with hoodies is planned. "But we won't reveal any more just yet."
